The mountain has a little bit of everything. Fire roads, single track, nice downhills, and even nicer climbs.

Summary:
First time at Wisp, and pretty disappointed. Trail map and on-mountain signs don't match, and the difficulty ratings didn't help. Advanced and Expert riders may enjoy the runs, but they would be over fast. Beginners and Intermediates will be riding the brakes almost the entire time, not much "flow".

Summary:
The new beginner run isn't beginner at all. Recently completed the trail is somewhat techinical with a few drops and a really fun slalom course at the bottom. The technicians at the rental shop were very knowledgeable (take a lesson!). A super great way to spend a weekend . The lift was slow but the view was beautiful.. I would highly reccommed Wisp and will certainly visit again

Recommended Route:
Ride the newly constructed downhill trail.

Summary:
Trails are mostly rocky single track. There isn't much trail maintenance that happens but on these types of trails it's not really an issue. You can link a couple of trails and create some pretty fun runs down the hill. The rental bikes are always top notch and are well taken care of. The only downside is the lift. It takes about 12-15 minutes to get to the top of the mountain and the runs are only about 5 minutes, less if you are hauling ass.

Recommended Route:
High roller ,

Summary:
The mountain is very rocky, definitely the worst I've seen until now. The trails are not graded according to the difficulty. Blue trails are more like black trails, green trail is not a trail but a sky slope, there's a double diamond black slalom trail which is more like a blue to me.
There are not many man made features along the mountain except an area for dirt jumping next to the start of the trails.

The lift is SLOW. You can definitely get an ATV and carry the bike to the top faster than the lift will take you.

The guys at the rental facility can't technically rent gear without bikes, and the prices for the bikes seem high. Lift tickets and trail access are about average priced.

Overall, I had better time at 7 springs.

7 springs. Better.

So is 7 springs the only place that you ride? Wisp is really not rocky at all. The lift is slow but just sit back and enjoy the view, it beats pushing and shuttling in your own vehicle. They have a lot of potential up there just needs everyone to stay positive, and enjoy it.
