Weekend Warrior Summary: Year-round mountain biking in the Pacific NW is just awesome. The dedicated effort that went into this trail is amazing, and the trail design offers a little something for everyone. Check out the official site from the guys who built the trail: http://evergreenmtb.org/wiki/index.php?title=Trail:I-5_Colonnade Recommended Route: All of it. In reference to smilycook: those are skills sections. You're supposed to develop the ability to flow it. If you can't, it's not a limitation of the trail. Other recommended trails in the same area: Almost all other trails in the area are seasonal due to rain and/or snow. Some trails are officially closed during rainy season, others can be ridden with mud tires if you're willing to do the trail work to repair your mess. But Colonnade is true 4-season fun.

Weekend Warrior Summary: First and foremost - this is a skills park right in a major urban area. Second - this park is covered. Interstate 5 is about 14 lanes wide and is totally above ground, making for the best possible canopy for an outdoor skills park. I don't know what the acreage is, but this isn't some BMX track laid out in a warehouse. This place is huge! Third - as mentioned above, this is in the middle of urban Seattle. You can see the Space Needle from nearly everywhere in the park. That is if you dare lift your eyes from the trail. Lastly - this is a built park. The club has done a wonderful job of creating a plethora of trails close enough to downtown that you can pop over on your lunch hour and get some practice in. This isn't a massive Whistler type park. This is a skills park where you can practice your moves every day before or after work. And practice makes perfect! Recommended Route: All of it. Other recommended trails in the same area: Nothing within an hours drive comes close.

Weekend Warrior Summary: The park is an amazing piece of work. They might have tried to pack to many things into one space since there a couple of sections that have awkward flow. Still worth a visit just hope they fix some of the poor flow.
