Weekend Warrior Summary: The trail is fun to ride in the summer with cool forest shade. It has plenty of up and downhill terrain, which give a great work out. The trail dries out quickly. After warming up on the 1.5 mile Mill Creek Loop, travel west on Chestnutburg Road for about 200 hundred yards, then move left up the wooded Wild Rock WV trail. These trails follow the New River. It is beautiful. From Wild Rock you can also find excellent rock climbing below the rim.. Recommended Route: Ride the Mill Creek Loop Trail then head west. Follow the rim to the gas well. Follow the trail which paralles the gas well road and take the first left. Follow this trail to the bottom of the hill and turn right to climb to the top of the hill. From here you can cut back on another gas well trail or continue exploring.. Other recommended trails in the same area: Fayetteville Park Trail
